Bushcraft does Stop Motion Animation

Last month at Bushcraft we learned STOP MOTION ANIMATION!

Here's our finished video...

Thank you Declan Zimmerman for leading this activity and editing all our individual segments into a single amazing video! And thanks to Andrea Sparacio and Jasmina Tomic for helping organize this month's logistics, since I was too down and out from finishing my book to help.

Here are some behind the scene photos! We each made a character (some using power tools) and then animated them under the copy stand.  (I made the butterfly and clouds, in case you're curious.) We ran out of time to animate all of them, but I think it's still impressive how much we accomplished in a single meeting. And look, we had our first baby Bushcrafter in attendance!
