I led an opening activity at the latest Animamus Art Salon,
which was held at The Schoolhouse!
Since it was April Fool's day, I invited people to make paper fish as part of the French tradition of Le Poisson d'Avril. This is when people place paper fish on other people's backs, and if they don't notice then they're the "fool." (Like a less aggressive "kick me" sign.) *All pics by Andrew Bridge
Here are the drawings of fish that I made in case you'd like to print them off and use next year...

That is so cool I love that idea, check out my blog. http://myreadingjourney-maryana.blogspot.com/2012/04/steal-like-artist.html
Hi I am Maryana. In school right now we are doing a thing called a exhibition. We each have to choose our passion and for 8 weeks we work on following our passion and have a story about the 8 weeks. My passion is art. And you are one of the people who inspired me to do art. I was wondering if maybe we could email and I could ask you a few questions. Thanks!
I was not aware of this tradition but I LOVE the idea of having a little gathering like this! I work at a public library - is it okay if I use your fish for next year's April Fool's day? I could see both the patrons AND staff having fun with this :) Thank you so much for sharing!
