Matt and I created block prints of a variety of birds inspired by different cultures which we then printed on the arms, cheeks, and legs of all the folks who passed us by...successfully peppering Roosevelt Island with blue birds! I looked like I had a whole sleeve of tattoos, which made me feel pretty bad-ass.

I loved your stamps and didn't even realize it was your project! Thanks for bringing such beauty to FIGMENT. One minor correction - it was Governors Island, not Roosevelt Island, that you peppered with pretty blue birds. :-)
